Two years ago, the reality TV star’s appearance peaked when she famously changed into a blonde bombshell and wore Marilyn Monroe’s legendary dress to the 2022 Met Gala.
Kardashian collaborated with Dolce & Gabbana to curate the Ciao Kim line that same year. The founder of SKIMS has now collaborated with the luxury brand once more on a new collection.
Kardashian’s appearance in the Dolce & Gabbana + SKIMS campaign alongside her sister Kourtney drove fans into a frenzy before the new collaboration’s lookbook was revealed. The siblings’ rivalry over the high-end brand was previously depicted on the family’s reality show, “The Kardashians,” for those who are unaware.
Kim Kardashian posted several images from the lookbook following the announcement of the Dolce & Gabbana x SKIMS limited edition collection. The 44-year-old wore several gorgeous pieces from the stellar collaboration, including the iconic D&G leopard print, on the new Instagram carousel. Kardashian’s gorgeous ice-blond hair also returned for the lookbook pictures.
The style might have been a subliminal throwback to the “Kanyels” star’s blond bombshell days, when she collaborated with the brand to produce the Ciao Kim collection. During Milan Fashion Week’s Womenswear Spring/Summer 2023, Kardashian actually walked the runway at the Dolce & Gabbana Fashion Show.
In the meantime, Kourtney Kardashian, her sister, was enlisted by the SKIMS co-founder for the dramatic D&G x SKIMS advertising campaign. Posing side by side in underwear and bodysuits with leopard prints, the two embraced antique fashion. Kardashian also promoted the new clothes collaboration with a number of photos on her Instagram.
The mother of four exclaimed, “The SKIMS x Dolce & Gabbana collaboration that I dreamed of is finally here,” in a newly uploaded Instagram reel. Kardashian expressed her delight before to the release of the collection. She added that the new partnership has been the result of “blood, sweat, and tears.”
