‘Infinity’ tickets for Coldplay concert went on sale for Dh77 at 12pm, marking the last opportunity to secure a seat for the band’s Abu Dhabi performances. Some UAE citizens found themselves back in queue with thousands of others on Friday afternoon, which reactivated old trauma wounds even as it gave them one final hope.
These exclusive tickets, which cost just €20 (Dh76.31) each, are available for every performance of Coldplay’s Music Of The Spheres World Tour 2025. Although it was an amazing bargain, the craze was all too familiar to fans.
Tickets for every date are sold out in less than an hour.
In the venue, these unique tickets are distributed at random. Those who received them may be seated on the floor or in the back row. Lucky people, however, might be seated in the venue’s best VIP section.
Many Coldplay fans across found the pre-sale and general sale to be a taxing and unpleasant experience, full of long wait periods, expensive tickets, and technological issues. On unapproved websites like Viagogo, some tickets that were originally priced at Dh995 for the Premium category were being resold for about Dh20,000.
Due to tremendous demand, Coldplay added more dates to their initial one-night only event in Abu Dhabi scheduled for January 11, 2025. While people were rushing to get tickets for the one show that was first advertised, they announced the additional shows.
The band will enthral fans in the capital on the following dates:
- Thursday, January 9, 2025
- Saturday, January 11
- Sunday, January 12
- Tuesday, January 14
All four shows will take place at the 44,600-capacity Zayed Sports City Stadium, as part of the band’s Music Of The Spheres World Tour 2025.
