Dubai South Partners one of the city’s largest urban developments, has entered into a partnership with Bahria Town (BT) Holding LLC to create a new master-planned community in Dubai’s Golf District, located near Al Maktoum International Airport. This development is set to meet the growing demand for premium residential and commercial spaces, bringing luxury living to the region.

Key Figures and Project Overview

The partnership was officially formalized by His Excellency Khalifa Al Zaffin, Executive Chairman of Dubai Aviation City Corporation and Dubai South, and Ahmed Ali Riaz Malik, Group CEO of BT Holding LLC. Also present at the signing were Nabil Al Kindi, CEO of Dubai South Properties, and Malik Riaz Hussain, Founder and Chairman of Bahria Town.

The project will offer a blend of villas, townhouses, and apartments, designed to create a self-sustaining community. Key amenities will include schools, healthcare centres, retail outlets, mosques, and entertainment venues. The development will also feature green spaces, water streams, a central park, dancing fountains, iconic monuments, and wide boulevards to create a tranquil and luxurious environment.

Strategic Significance and Vision

His Excellency Khalifa Al Zaffin highlighted the strategic importance of the project, emphasizing Dubai South’s role in attracting global investors and supporting the UAE government’s goal of housing one million residents once Al Maktoum International Airport is completed.

Malik Riaz Hussain emphasized Bahria Town’s extensive experience in large-scale community development and its enthusiasm for expanding in Dubai. Drawing from its success in Pakistan, Bahria Town aims to replicate this success in Dubai by creating a holistic, self-sustaining community.

Project Scale and Timeline

BT Holding LLC, the UAE-based subsidiary of Bahria Town, plans to develop a mixed-use community spanning over 20 million square feet. Sales for off-plan units are expected to begin in January 2025.

Bahria Town’s parent company has developed over 285 square kilometres of land across Pakistan

and is currently working on major projects, including a flagship township in Karachi, which will eventually house up to 5 million residents.

Dubai South and the UAE’s Vision for Growth

Dubai South, a 145-square-kilometre master-planned city, is strategically positioned to become a global hub for both commercial and residential sectors.

The city is equipped with world-class infrastructure, benefiting from its proximity to Al Maktoum International Airport,

which is set to become the world’s largest airport.

Dubai South partners development aligns with the UAE’s broader vision for sustainable growth and further

reinforces Dubai’s standing as a global transport and logistics hub.
